DDG has publicly claimed that his ex, Halle Bailey, is not allowing him to see their son, Halo.

“Been fighting to see my son for months now…” the 27-year-old rapper wrote in a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, March 7, as reported by TMZ. “Shout out to all the dads who try their best to be there. This s— sucks.”

Following the deleted post, DDG addressed the situation during a livestream, further expressing his frustration. “I really feel like I’m a f—ing nanny at this point,” he said, per TMZ. “The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. And I don’t even know the nanny’s name. Like, it’s just not fair, bro. So I have to come on here and I gotta do this s—.”

Bailey, 24, and DDG have faced challenges in co-parenting since their split. In November 2024, Bailey publicly criticized DDG for allowing their then 14-month-old son to appear on YouTuber Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream without her knowledge. Cenat, who has over 13 million followers on the platform, featured Halo during a live broadcast, prompting Bailey to express her frustration online.

“I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people,” Bailey wrote on X, as reported by Us Weekly. “I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.”

Bailey later softened her stance, acknowledging in a follow-up post on November 7 that she may have overreacted. “Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. Thank you, Kai, for the gifts for Halo,” she wrote.

The former couple announced their split in October 2024, less than a year after Bailey gave birth to Halo. “After much reflection and heartfelt support conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” DDG shared via Instagram Stories on October 3. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us.”

Despite their breakup, DDG emphasized their continued respect for each other, stating, “Our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we shared.”

As of now, neither DDG nor Bailey’s representatives have provided further comments on the situation.
